Blogs, (short for web-logs), there are more than 95 million of them out there.
Blogs are created and maintained by a wide variety of people, for different purposes and catering to different interests.
The issue is, can we use this technology to help us in the classroom?
Yes. because blogs:
1. Are interactive
2. Allow for "at your own time, own pace" learning
3. Allow for think time before response
4. Allow for hyperlinking of resources
5. Are free.
They can contain:
1. Links to resources
2. Lessons for students to follow.
3. Notes
4. Student Feedback (student work)
Issues:
1. Internet Security
2. Intellectual Copyright
